For years, Yvette and Yvonne have been faithful servants to the Holy See. Born to the noble vassal house of Haillenarte, House Auclaire, they were given to the church at an early age where they were raised to become nuns, serving their Holy Mother as her daughters and offering service to the people of Ishgard and standing as exemplars of piety and godliness.When the sisters turned sixteen, however, their time in the convent ended as the twins were inducted into the Inquisition, serving their Holy Mother as agents of divine justice. But what isn't known is how exactly they served or what roles they fulfilled during this time. Any stories of the sisters from this time are speculation at best, with each rumor darker and more violent than the last.But now, their lives have changed once more. With the passing of their brother, the heir of Auclaire, and now of their father, House Haillenarte has interceded, insisting to the Chuch that the twins be released of their vows and brought back home to take leadership of their House in order to ensure the strength of Haillenarte's power base.But this change from a life of piety and service to the world of nobility and politics would be hard enough on anyone. But combine that with the weight of the small silver empire of their House and the great changes to their society in the wake of the Republic? How will these sisters deal with these challenges?

As the owner of the Skysilver Mines up in the Sea of Clouds, most of the Auclaire wealth has come from selling both raw ore and manufactured silver products that are made by silversmiths and founderies owned by the House. Despite this, Lord Victor Auclaire, has devoted more of his focus to the development of knights that he hoped would one day rival those of other houses like Fortemps and Durendaire.Rumors suggest that Victor had always seen little valor and honor in silversmithing and the silver trade, and hoped that through their son and first heir, he could create a more valiant and glorious image for House Auclaire. But there are those who whispered that this devoted lord may not have been such a pinnacle of fidelity and strength. There were many stories exchanged about trysts and secret rendezvous with a great many women, many of whom were of low birth and even heretical views.And when his son Henri was killed, his health began to decline quickly. Almost too quickly some said. Though as hardly as pious as her daughters, Amelié is a strong believer in the spiritual power of the Church, and champions certain values that align with her own views of goodwill towards folk of all classes.And despite her role in House Auclaire as primarily Victor's consort and bearer of heirs, Amelié has a strong business acumen from her time growing up in as an extended cousin to the Count Haillenarte, and even has capable skill in silversmiting herself. There are rumors though that say that Amelié scorned her husband for how he had pushed her into so much of a subservient role. Outwardly though, Amelié has never spoken ill of her husband, even as rumors swirled around their family of his infidelity to her, and has always been a gracious host and socialite!

Patron: HaloneBio: The glorious blonde haired wonder of Auclaire, Henri was about everything any lord or lady could expect and would want out of a devoted son. Brilliant, charming in his looks, valiant, pious, Henri was THE golden child of House Auclaire, the one who would lead their House into a new era. He was even betrothed to one of the daughters of Haillenarte in order to create even deeper connections between vassal and liege!And despite being younger than his sisters, with Auclaire's long standing patriarchal traditions, it was he that was named to be the heir of the House and would take the title of Viscount whenever their father passed on. But this would never be.Only a few months before his fated wedding, Henri was out on a training patrol with several other knights when they were ambushed. Despite the war with Dravania being over, there are still many heretical groups that resist Ishgardian rule. The knights were able to turn away the ambushers, but not without casualties. And when the bodies were accounted for, Henri was among them. The heir of Auclaire slain on the road to Dragonhead.
